P.J. Braley

On the day she decided to do more than copyedit other writers’ manuscripts, P.J. began transitioning from copy editor to author. Immersing readers in the world of an alien assassin, her debut novel, The Fire Slayers, blends science fiction with love, loyalty, and destiny. The series continues with Finding Persephone, Persephone’s Children, and the forthcoming Training Ground (September 2026).
Incorporating paranormal elements and historical details in The Painted Fan, P.J. stretches the romance genre into new territory by creating an urban fantasy set in the heart of downtown Tampa.

When she isn’t writing, you can find P.J. sitting on the sun deck with her rescued Aussies, Nymeria and Kaela. She will be the one with a book in one hand and a glass of sangria in the other.
